Teri

Teri was born on March 27, 1984 to Bob and Madeline Dube. She began her life’s journey in both Bellaire and Katy, Texas. Teri has four siblings; Kathryn, Toni, Robby and Alec. Faith, family and friends are the core components of Teri’s passions. In middle school, Teri enjoyed cheerleading, acting, dancing and singing.

Teri moved to Georgetown, Texas for High School and was very active within various leadership organizations including serving as the Student Body President, mentor to elementary students and Treasurer of her class. Teri was very active in her church, Faith Lutheran and served on the church council where she began her interest in ministry. She graduated in 2002 and worked at Camp Lone Star as a counselor before attending Texas A&M in College Station.

Camp Lone Star has been a place of discipleship, spiritual freedom, and unconditional love for Teri. It was at camp that Teri experienced the joys of teaching children and youth the power of the Lord.

Teri is the proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2006 A Whoop! In May of 2005, she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting. But Teri knew that God was calling her into full-time ministry and decided to work one last summer at Camp Lone Star before attending Concordia University in Austin, Texas. She attained a Director of Christian Education (DCE) certification in December of 2006.

Teri’s first call was to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Decatur, Alabama where she directed the Children’s Ministry program. After 3 years of ministry with the people Teri considers to be very dear to her, she accepted a call to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas where she met Brian, and the rest is history…

Teri’s Matron of Honor is her friend from High School and College, Cynthia Holt. Bridesmaids are Teri’s sisters Kathryn and Toni Dube, her cousin Michelle Pineda, and Camp Lone Star/College friends Elizabeth Albers, Kristie Slaughter, Megan Chambers and Alicia Janecke.

The House Party/Honor Attendants are High School and College friend Anne French, Camp Lone Star friends Julie Knouse and Mary Suelzle, and Middle School friend Lauren Mabry.
